Fire Prevention Works Limited was formed in 2006 by Gary Bennett and Peter Clements. Gary had spent a number of years in the Scottish Fire Service and during this time achieved his masters in Fire & Explosive Engineering. Peter had worked in the construction industry for over 20 years originally as an electrician but latterly as a Contracts Manager. 

This combined skill-set allows us to not only provide fire engineering solutions, fire risk assessments, fire safety training and advice but also provide our clients with the benefit of being a specialist installer and maintenance contractor. Whether this be fire alarm, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, domestic/ residential BS9251 sprinklers or electrical testing. 

As Peter is often heard to say "Gary keeps us legal and I just get it done". 

To deal with our continuing business development and our expanding client base it was decided in 2007 to develop the role of an office manager into the day to day operations of the company. Emma Kay has been in this role since June 2009 bringing with her more than 10 years of office management experience. With overall responsibility for the day to day running of the office she is likely to be your first point of contact.
